Growing season matrix · Gol, 60.7°N
The year, as the light sets it
The curve is computed day length for latitude 60.7008°N — astronomy, not a forecast. The coloured bands are typical timing in Hallingdal; the real season is set by snowmelt and heat sum in the year it happens.
June
18 h 58 min mean daylight
First cutFørsteslått
Cut on heading, in the second half of June. This is the decision the whole year turns on: cut earlier for a leafier, more digestible forage and less of it, later for bulk and more stem. It is taken against the weather in the week it happens.

Core agricultural divisions
Four things this holding actually does
Cultivation under the activity code it has filed, the soil work that keeps that code meaningful in twenty years, the supply side that moves the crop, and the paperwork that has to travel with it.
Annual crops & yields
What comes off these fields
Forage, in bulk, to business buyers. Every crop below is grown under the registered activity code — and every one of them is described without a yield figure, because the figure that matters comes from the analysis of the batch you are actually buying.
Plain statements
Three things this site does not claim
Not modesty — precision. Each of these is a claim an agricultural supplier could easily make on a website and could not stand behind in a dispute.
Not certified organic
Stake Gunhild does not hold, and does not claim, organic certification. In Norway organic status is certified only by Debio; any crop sold as organic would carry a Debio control number, and none is published here because none has been issued.
No health or medicinal claim
Forage is animal feed. Stake Gunhild makes no human or animal health claim of any kind, sells no medicinal, therapeutic or herbal preparation, and grows no cannabis, hemp or other controlled plant.
No published yield or feed figures
Feed value varies by field, cut, weather and storage. Any figure that matters commercially comes from a laboratory analysis of the actual batch, quoted with its method and date — never from a table on a website.
B2B bulk order & supply request
Tell us what you need and when
Crop, rough volume, and whether you are collecting from Gol or want it delivered. We answer against what is actually in store — which is the only answer worth having.
How an enquiry is handled
- 1You send crop, volume band and timing. Nothing is committed by either side at this point.
- 2We check it against what is in store and answer with what exists — including “not this season”, when that is the answer.
- 3Volume, price, collection or delivery and documentation are agreed in writing before anything moves.
Stake Gunhild is a registered sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak) supplying agricultural crop material in bulk to businesses. It sells to farms, feed producers and agricultural buyers — not to consumers, and not in retail quantities.
Nothing here is veterinary, nutritional or agronomic advice for a specific herd or field. Feed rations and fertiliser plans must be set by your own adviser against your own analyses.
